Short Executive and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses
A short course is a course that does not require long term learning commitment, usually does not require the traditional clocked supervised written examinations, and are taken primarily for personal professional development in a given field. Short courses are taken to enhance employability; especially those that are taken as part of a continuing professional development (CPD) programme.
IPED short courses can be taken/delivered via seminars, workshops, events, or through self-study. A learner is deemed to have successfully completed the course through active participation during the delivery of the course. Certification is usually done in real-time.
